Lochcarron of Scotland has been invited by Visit Scotland to participate in the celebration of Tartan Day, the 6th of April, in New York City.

The activities cover more than a week of fashion shows, parades and banquets.

Lochcharron's fabrics will feature prominently in the Dressed to Kilt fashion show including garments produced by students from the Galashiels campus of Heriott Watt University.

Their new York City tartan will be seen on City Taxis and will also feature at the banquet and Scottish Village fashion shows at the Vanderbilt Room in Grand Central Station.

Many of the the 3000 bandsmen parading on Sixth Avenue will also be clad in Lochcarron's prestigeous hard wearing Strome tartans including the heroic New York City Fire Brigade.
