Twists Glas Studio will feature in Dubai Showcase

A Showcase at the British Embassy in Dubai will include Scottish Borders Export Club member Twists Glass Studio. 

Featured will be Torsade a piece by designer and glass artist  Michael  James Hunter of Twists Glass Studio. 

The Showcase  will be managed by the  British  Embassy Dubai with Support  from the British Jewellery and Giftware  Exports.

This opportunity is a direct result of entering and winning the prestigous UK Gift of the Year Awards in 2007.

Twists  received  the highly commended award for the Torsade range in July 2007 for the design of a gift to be sold in a gallery. Twists Glass have an excellent track record at the Gift of the Year Awards, having won 4 times  since 2002. 

The news has brought an encouraging start to the New Year, and has provided Twists Glass Studios with the prospect of exciting export opportunities in new markets in 2008 .
