Tom Burnham has spent much of his business life both as an SME and in advising SMEs. He has experienced the triumphs and disasters that go with running a business, and understands the challenges of all varieties that hinder the business development of companies both small and multinational.
Tom's core skill is an ability to sell successfully to buyers across all sectors and geographies. Through experience and research he is sensitive to the business and social culture of the target market, and understands what additional facilitating assistance may be necessary from within that market.
This is supported by a good analytical ability, honed during his days with Procter & Gamble and Gillette; and strong presentational skills. As a result Tom can assist companies in the whole business process from strategy and budget to implementation and follow-up.
These factors have combined to provide him with business networks at home and abroad: they are especially strong in the UK, Nordic region, Central & Eastern Europe, and Asia. He has put them to good use on behalf of large and small clients in a variety of sectors from toys to software publishing, in both export selling and export training.
