ABOUT THE COMPANY

The Scottish Borders climate and soil type is ideal for growing the crops we require. Approved growers receive advice on inputs and the quality standards we require to supply assured oats and barley to our mills. Intake loads are subject to a rigorous testing and inspection procedure so that only the best quality, fully traceable grain is used.

We operate our own fleet of articulated bulk and curtain side vehicles to ensure regular and controlled supplies of grain to the mill and finished products to our customers. We are easily accessible for all the major network routes North and South.

PRODUCTS

Food ProductsUsing hydrothermic treatment of cereals by rotary steam dryers, we are producing fully stabilised and distinctly flavoured oat products for today’s demanding food markets.

The recent addition of high-tech computerised colour sorting equipment has further enhanced the safety and purity of all our products. Scottish Pearl Barley is milled to an exceptional standard of purity and consistency for the food industry throughout the UK.

We have experienced increasing demand for our speciality cereal ingredients from within the breakfast cereal market, biscuit manufacturing, butchers, bakers and health food sector. Without doubt this is testimony to the quality, flavour and success of our products as a natural fo ingredient.

Our finished goods are packed into specially selected food quality packaging. Normally flexible IBC bulk bags or 25kg rolled bottom paper sacks as requested.
